I leave my family’s armor here, one of the finest sets ever made. May you who finds it receive strength in battle

-Marcus Junius Brutus’ words in the First Scroll of Romulus

The Armor of Brutus is one of the strongest armor set in Assassin’s Creed series. You can obtain this armor while playing Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. The armor is also available in Assassin’s Creed Revelations. From this article, you will be able to find out some facts and information on both the owner of the armor and its properties.

Make sure to read our article about the game, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.

Who was Brutus?

As the name goes, the armor of Brutus was owned by the assassin Marcus Junius Brutus. He was the assassin who killed Julius Caesar. (According to the assassin’s creed series) He was an earlier member of the ‘Hidden Ones’ (According to the Assassin’s Creed Origins) He was related several hidden artifacts of Eden such as Hidden Vault and the Shroud of Eden in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (according to Assassin’s Creed lore, Brutus’s followers tried to revive him using it just after his death, but ultimately failed to do so)

The major impact Brutus done was that he was the mastermind behind the assassination of Julius Caesar. He was the last one to stab Caesar. You can witness these events if you play Assassin’s Creed Origins.

The appearance of the Armor

The Armor of Brutus looks heavier than most armors in the Assassin’s Creed Series. However, this quality doesn’t affect any element of the gameplay. The best thing about this armor is that it’s unbreakable. If you had played early assassin’s creed games, you know that your armor can be broken in the combat. In such cases, you need to repair that armor piece. However, that doesn’t require if you wear this armor.

This ‘Unbreakable Armor’ is really amazing thing to have in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. As you see, armor repairing is somewhat an annoying task. You know, this must be done before getting into serious combat situations and some story missions. If you fell from some height or something, the armor will break in most conditions. (Unless you desynchronized…obviously)

There are two silver eagles in the armor. They may be used to resemble the Assassin Brotherhood. We can clearly observe that the armor consists of both leather and metal. Unlike the main armor of Ezio, the player can’t change colors of this armor. So it stays its own silver and red colors.

Another great thing about this armor is its uniqueness. You know, in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, you don’t have many customization options. You’ll only be able to upgrade Ezio’s normal armor gradually and apply some different colors to it. So having this kind of magnificent armor is really cool, isn’t it? It will definitely give you some great experience while your playtime.

How to Obtain Armor of Brutus

Step 1:

After you complete memory ‘Crepi II Lupo’, Ezio will travel to the Halls of Nero to uncover the secrets of wolfmen, known as ‘Followers of Romulus’. At the first lair of Romulus Ezio finds out the Romulus scroll, which will show you the next lairs in your map. (Wolf head markers in the map)

Note-

In every location given below is filled with the followers of Romulus (A cult which is supported by the Borgia Family). You must deal with them to go to the trophy rooms to collect their coins and the Scrolls of Romulus.

Step 2:

After completing this Halls of Nero mission you can explore other lairs located in (each contains a Romulus Scroll),

  • Pyramid of Cestius (leads to Roman catacombs)
  • Colosseum
  • Lateran Palace (Former residence of The Pope)
  • Baths of Diocletian ( Note: All the damaged aqueducts must be renovated to access this lair)
  • St. Peter’s Basilica ( Note: You must complete the memory sequence 7 to access this place)

Step 3:

After completing the Ezio’s memories in those 6 locations, you can obtain the Brutus Armor. ( You need all 6 keys from each Romulus Lairs). The armor is located in a vault beneath Prospero da Siena’a Borgia Tower. (Marked with a golden wolf marker in the map). You can also obtain the Dagger of Brutus with this magnificent armor.

I think everyone who had played Brotherhood must obtain this armor ( Relatively easy to obtain). And if you can handle a few followers of Romulus (You should be fine of course), you can definitely get hold of this glorious armor. Hope this guide helped you.
