Gameplay in Assassin’s Creed
‘Assassin’s Creed’ is an action-adventure game. That means the game tests the various amount of qualities of the player. The game is set in a considerably big ‘open world‘ and the game uses third-person perspective gameplay mechanisms.
The player has to play as the assassin ‘Altair Ibn-La’Ahad’ a young assassin who was raised in the castle of Masyaf. Players have the chance of enjoying living in ancient cities of ‘Jerusalem’, ‘Acre’, and ‘Damascus’ during the ‘Third Crusade Era’. So It’s a big impact made on the gaming industry at that time.
As the name goes off the series, the missions are basically assassinating particular targets (Templars). However, there are some prerequisites for an assassination to perform. These objectives (some are mandatory and some are optional) contain various actions such as eavesdropping, interrogation, pickpocket, and some additional tasks for fellow assassins. These missions basically require some stealth gameplay skills of the player.
The game’s most famous introduction is the hidden blade ( An Assassin’s primary weapon). A blade which concealed within the wrists of the assassin. Using this weapon is the best part of the game and there is no doubt about that.
There are two types of activities that can affect the guards’ response towards Altair. ‘High-Profile’ activities such as running in streets and climbing buildings can easily attract a guard’s sight towards the player. On the other hand ‘Low-Profile’ activities don’t affect the guards’ attention.
