Assassin’s Creed : Valhalla is going to release late this year as Ubisoft launched the cinematic trailer 30th April 2020. People said it’s named as Ragnarok, how ever it’s called as Valhalla. So it will be the twelfth game of the Assassin’s Creed series after Assassin’s Creed : Odyssey. The Game is about a Viking raider’s story.
Expected Gameplay Mechanics in Assassin’s Creed : Valhalla
Like the last two games of the series (Origins and Odyssey), this game is going to be a RPG based adventure game. (Earlier Assassin’s Creed Games are action-adventure games).
The game sets on 873 AD, and the main plot is about the Viking raider Elvor (male character name). The player can select either male or female main character and customize their character as they want just like in Assassin’s Creed : Odyssey. The RPG gameplay mechanics will come to use that the player will have to make their own decisions which may change the story in the end.
There will be skill trees and the player will be able to upgrade the main character according to their preference. The player doesn’t look too agile and I wonder we will be able to find the traditional park overs and leap of faiths. But we do not know yet about it since the gameplay haven’t revealed yet.
Features in Assassin’s Creed : Valhalla
Since there is no gameplay release came out yet, we can’t really tell about the all features. However, the confirmed theories say that there will be Epic Naval Battles (Since the game is about Vikings), Settlement Building, Hunting and huge amount of side quests.
Raiders and Resource Gathering
The Player need to recruit best NPCs to increase the power of the raiding party as the Viking raiders will expand their influence in to the lands of Dark Age Britain. There will be huge battles with Saxons and other enemies as we could see in the cinematic trailer. Raiding will get more resources to build up your settlements.
The Hidden Blade Comes back
We haven’t seen the hidden blade in the Assassin’s Creed : Odyssey (until the DLCs). We saw Elvor uses the hidden blade and it’s not the traditional hidden blade we saw in earlier assassin’s creed games. The hidden blade we saw on the trailer is similar to the one used by Darius in Assassin’s Creed : Odyssey DLC. So we can expect more Hidden Blade Actions.
The Eagle Vision?
Elvor is seen with a raven, not a eagle. So we will see how this works with the eagle vision which is much more unique aspect in the gameplay of all assassin’s creed games.
If you haven’t watched the Cinematic trailer yet. Watch it from here.
The game promises so many things, and we expect to tell more about it when the gameplay reveal has come.
