Mayan Armor is probably the best armor you can obtain in the game Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. It may not look so great, but it gives you a unique advantage. Why do I say like that? Because it is ‘Bullet Proof’, yeah… you read that right. It is a bulletproof armor and currently the only armor which is immune to bullet damages.
The appearance
The armor was most likely a work of ‘Maya People’ (As the name goes) created using scavenged ‘Isu Shards of Eden’. (Isu Shards are ancient artifacts from the first civilization in the Assassin’s Creed Series) We can clearly see that the armor has some different, metallic appearance. This must be the cause for it’s unique ability. However the armor doesn’t contain a assassin hood.
How to Obtain Mayan Armor
Let’s see hoe to obtain this interesting armor with several steps. (Some coordinates given below may not available for the players in early sequences)
Step 1: Find a Mayan Stelaes
‘Mayan Stelaes’ are large geographical sculptures found in various locations in West Indies. First you need to locate a sculpture. To do that, you need to ‘Synchronize a Location’. (This is not mandatory, but it will ease you) After that, take a look at your map and look for ‘ancient mask’ (is it?) icon

Step 2: Solve the Mayan Puzzle
Go to the location, look for the sculpture and climb on it to solve a small puzzle using your ‘Eagle Vision’. (You have to align the lines and circles with the physical objects)

After solving the puzzle, you will see a marker to a location, that go to that particular marked location (Which should be nearby), and interact. Edward will dig and grab the key stone and say something like (“Good, Another Keystone…”)
Step 3: Unlocking the Outfit
After collecting the keystones, check the map. You will see a marker on the map naming, ‘Mayan Outfit’. (Location: Tulum (70, 405)) Get to Tulum and go to the location. Press Interact button and you’ll get the Mayan Outfit. Now you have got the ‘Bullet Proof’ Mayan Outfit.

I don’t think obtaining this armor as a tough task. But it will consume a lot of time since you’ll need to travel everywhere across the map. However it is completely worthy to do so isn’t it?
